What inspired you to get into healthcare?

I saw from an early age that helping people when they were most vulnerable and sick was fulfilling and gave me purpose. That coupled with my interest in science, specifically how the anatomy and physiology of the human body worked is what drove me to pursue a career in health care.

What do you like to do in your downtime?

Spend time with my family, traveling, watching and playing sports, fishing and hunting.

What do you enjoy most about being a primary care provider at Pender Community Hospital & Medical Clinics?

I enjoy the wide variety of things we get to do in Pender. I enjoy seeing people in the clinic and the hospital. I enjoy getting to perform procedures that other family physicians practicing in the city do not have the opportunity to perform. I enjoy helping families grow by delivering their kids and then watching them grow up and take care of them over the years. Pender Community Hospital and Medical Clinics allows me to practice the entire scope of medicine that enjoy and appreciate their trust in me to do this.
