Pender Community Health Expands ENT Access with Addition of Dr. Eric Rohe
Pender, Neb. (Oct. 5, 2026) – Pender Community Health (PCH) is making it easier for patients to access ear, nose and throat (ENT) care close to home with the addition of Eric Rohe, MD, to its Outpatient Specialty Clinic.
Dr. Rohe, an ENT physician with Faith Health, began seeing patients in Pender last month and will visit PCH on the first Thursday of each month. He provides ENT care for patients of all ages.
Dr. Rohe joins PCH’s current ENT provider, David Denman, MD, expanding the availability of ENT services in Pender. With ENT appointments often in high demand, having an additional visiting specialist gives patients more opportunities to receive the care they need without long waits or unnecessary travel.
“Expanding access to specialty care is an important part of how we continue to lead and strengthen rural healthcare,” said Laura Gamble, CEO of Pender Community Health. “By welcoming Dr. Rohe to Pender, we can offer more ENT appointment availability and help patients get the care they need sooner and closer to home.”
Dr. Rohe earned his medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine and completed his residency training in otolaryngology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He currently practices with Faith Health Ear, Nose & Throat in Norfolk.
ENT specialists diagnose and treat conditions affecting the ears, nose and throat. Patients can see PCH’s ENT providers for a variety of concerns, including ear infections, hearing concerns, tonsil and adenoid conditions, sinus problems, allergies and other ear, nose and throat needs.
Dr. Rohe is also trained in Inspire® Therapy, a treatment option for certain patients with obstructive sleep apnea. While Inspire procedures are not performed at PCH, patients can meet with Dr. Rohe in Pender to discuss their symptoms and determine whether Inspire may be an appropriate treatment option. Patients who may be candidates can then be connected with the appropriate location for additional evaluation and treatment.
Dr. Rohe sees patients at Pender Community Health on the first Thursday of each month. To schedule an ENT appointment, call the PCH Outpatient Specialty Clinic at 402-385-4090. Patients are encouraged to check with their insurance provider to determine whether a referral is required before scheduling.
