Pender Community Hospital & Medical Clinics Announces New Billing Partner
PENDER, Neb. (July 8, 2024) – Pender Community Hospital and Medical Clinics are pleased to announce their partnership with Magnet Solutions, a statement generating company from Scottsbluff, Nebraska. This sets a major milestone in providing patients with user friendly and timely statements.
“Our goal with these new statements is to give patients a better understanding of the services they are being billed for, including both current and outstanding balances. The statements are easy to read while also providing more information and additional opportunities to pay their bills,” states Paige McQuistan, Revenue Cycle Manager.
The statements include new and exciting features:
- New website and accessible QR code that takes patients straight to an individual billing portal, PersonaPay, to make payments or set up payment plans
- QR Code for Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) about billing
- Toll-Free number to make payments, set up payment plans, or ask questions
- Contact information of other healthcare facilities patients may receive bills from (i.e. third-party medical imaging readings or hospital outpatient providers)
“Magnet Solutions will be an extension of our current business office and will be able to talk to you about your bill and answer questions. Medical bills are often unexpected and difficult to pay so we wanted an advocate for our patients,” states Chief Financial Officer, Kim Hixson.
This is an exciting new partnership that will give patients new tools to review and pay their bills. Patients will receive their first statement from Magnet Solutions in July 2024. Patients currently on a payment plan will be contacted by PCH’s Financial Counselor to transition their plan into the new system.
To set up a payment plan or ask a question, please contact Magnet Solutions toll-free at 833-917-1757.
