Pender Community Hospital Welcomes New Nurse Practitioner Anthony Ridder to the Team
Pender, Neb. (September 9, 2024) – Pender Community Hospital and Medical Clinics (PCH) is excited to announce the arrival of Anthony Ridder, Nurse Practitioner (NP), to its team of healthcare providers. Anthony’s addition represents a new chapter for PCH as it continues to expand its skilled provider network.
Anthony Ridder joins PCH after completing his Masters of Science in Nursing at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) in May 2024. With a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Nebraska Methodist College and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Anthony brings a well-rounded background to his new role.
At PCH, Anthony will be covering several weeknights and a daytime shift in the Emergency Department, as well as seeing patients at the Pender Medical Clinics. His broad expertise and compassionate approach will enhance the care provided to the community, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care around the clock.
Anthony’s professional background includes advanced clinical training through his student APRN roles, where he conducted comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans. His previous experience working as a Registered Nurse in the ICU at Immanuel Medical Center managing critically ill patients makes him a valuable addition to PCH’s emergency department.
Outside of his professional life, Anthony enjoys coaching football at Guardian Angels Central Catholic in West Point and spending time with his wife, Justine, and their three young children. He is also a sports enthusiast and appreciates the opportunity to balance his professional and personal passions.
“I am incredibly excited to join this team and to have the opportunity to serve more patients,” Anthony said. “I’m honored to be a member of this excellent group of providers and to contribute to the health and well-being of the surrounding community.” Pender Community Hospital is confident that Anthony Ridder’s expertise and dedication will greatly benefit its patients and the broader community. We look forward to the positive impact he will make as part of our team.
