Patient Information

swoosh

To help Pender Community Hospital & Medical Clinics patients, we’ve put together the following information for you to quickly find what you might need.

Patient Satisfaction

Pender Community Hospital & Medical Clinics strive to continuously improve the quality of services we provide to you, our patients. Your satisfaction is tremendously important to us and to make sure we are hitting the mark, we welcome your feedback on the care we provide. Patient satisfaction surveys are available for you to comment on your care following your visit we us. We encourage your comments, as they help us to understand what we need to improve our patient care services.

If you have a quality of care problem or a concern that requires more immediate attention, please notify your nurse and/or speak to the hospital patient representative at 402-385-4016 or quality & risk management at 402-385-4040.

Compliance

We have established a Corporate Compliance Program to offer guidance on providing quality care to the communities we serve in an ethical, professional, and lawful manner.

Education and Training
All new PCHD employees are required to attend an orientation session on the Integrity & Compliance Program and are provided education on our Code of Conduct. The information is reinforced through ongoing education and training, particularly for colleagues whose positions require additional knowledge and understanding of the laws and regulations which apply to their work responsibilities.

Reporting Issues and Concerns
Delivering health care services is an increasingly challenging task with complex and ever-changing rules and regulations which apply to our operations. As a result, there are times when the answer to a particular issue or situation may not be clear. PCHD encourages our patients, medical staff, vendors and other business partners as well as to seek answers to their questions or concerns through various resources and options made available to assist them.

Compliance Line
Our Compliance Line is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week by an outside company on behalf of PCHD. The hotline number is available for our patients, medical staff, vendors and other business partners.

Hotline Number: 712-279-2534 or 866-477-4661.

All calls are confidential and can be made anonymously. Leave a voicemail if there is no answer.
