Pediatric Occupational Therapy

swoosh

The main focus of pediatric occupational therapy is to help children achieve the skills needed for them to grow into adults who are functional and independent. Sometime, physical issues, impairments, injuries and other problems can be an obstacle for a child’s social, physical, and cognitive development.

Our occupational therapists provide support to infants, toddlers, children, and youth. Through this type of therapy, children are able to gain independence and confidence while strengthening their development skills.

Different areas of focus include:

  • Fine motor skills
  • Sensory motor skills
  • Visual motor skills
  • Gross motor skills
  • Social skills
  • Cognitive skills
